Britt has lived in and has practiced law in the Portland area since 1978 and has had an office in Lake Oswego for more than 10 years. She is active in the local schools and in her community. She mentors young lawyers and paralegal students, and she also coaches gymnastics.

Britt has been licensed to practice law in Oregon since 1982.
